Please review the policies associated with BostonSight Specialty Lenses for lens warranties, returns, fit exchanges, replacement/spares, broken lenses, and material changes.
Defective Lens Return
Lenses returned as ‘defective’ under the manufacturing warranty must be returned within 90 days of shipment by BostonSight Specialty Lenses to you in the original packaging. You are responsible for shipping costs, and proof of delivery of returned product. Promptly following receipt, BostonSight Specialty Lenses will inspect returned lenses for defects. If a lens is found to be defective, a replacement lens will be shipped via the same delivery method specified in the original order at no additional cost to you.
BostonSight SCLERAL lenses are guaranteed to meet all parameter specifications and be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of shipment to you.
Fit Exchange Period
Lenses may be exchanged during the Fit Exchange Period for parameter adjustments including changes in diameter (within FitKit® range), base curve, material, toric periphery, front surface astigmatism, and channels. The number of exchanges for lens parameter adjustments is not limited during the 120-day Fit Exchange Period, and no additional charges are incurred for modifications made.
Replacement/Spare Lenses
Replacement or Spare Lenses (formerly known as Rx Refill lenses) are an exact duplicate of a previously ordered lens. Replacements/Spares are not eligible for the Fit Exchange Period and are not eligible for refunds.
Material Change Lenses
For previously ordered lenses that have duplicate parameters but require material modification, you may make a material change at a reduced cost. Material Change lens orders are not eligible for the Fit Exchange Period.
Patient Cancellation
If a patient cancels a fit, BostonSight Specialty Lenses will provide a full credit, less a cancellation fee, for such lenses, provided that you complete the online form, follow the instructions, and return all lenses ordered as part of the fit within the 120-day Fitting Period. Shipping charges, Hydra-PEG coating, SmartFocus™ and SmartSight HOA® are non-refundable.

Broken Lens
BROKEN LENS POLICY
Broken lenses may be evaluated for a complimentary replacement lens following review by our consultation team. Requests for review must be submitted through our online form, accompanied by a photo of the broken lens.
A replacement/spare lens fee will be assessed until the request is approved. Broken lenses must be returned within the 120-day fitting period to qualify. Broken lenses that fall outside the fitting period may be ordered as a replacement/spare lens.
